How We Use AI. And How We Don't.

AI perception management is a powerful capability. We believe it comes with clear responsibilities — to our users, to the AI ecosystem, and to the people who rely on accurate information.

A Personal Note from the Founder

As a passionate strength athlete and professional software developer for more than 30 years, I have seen the rise of technology, especially the internet and with it, social media platforms. While watching both evolve, I grew to detest social media and the industry that lives off it.

My personal view is that social media is a disease — one that brings anxiety, insecurity, hatred and misinformation to people and feeds the rich that live off these emotions like parasites. This is the reason why I, as inventor and developer of aystos, will never use any kind of social media to promote, advertise or spread this software, neither actively nor passively.

aystos grew out of requirements and needs my customers and I have. It is primarily intended to help solve real-life issues on webpages of all kinds — not to make me rich or famous.

I hereby declare I will never let aystos be used for any kind of hate speech or misinformation, nor on any webpage that supports extremism, whether political or ethical.

Why This Page Exists

aystos helps businesses understand and improve how AI systems perceive their websites. That's a real and growing need. But "improving AI perception" sits close to a line that matters: the difference between making accurate information easier to find and making inaccurate information easier to believe.

We think that line deserves to be drawn clearly. This page is where we draw it.

Accuracy, Not Manipulation

Our platform helps your website communicate what's true about your business — more clearly, more completely, and in formats that AI systems can process reliably.

We do not help websites fabricate credentials, invent reviews, or plant misleading claims for AI to pick up. When aystos flags a content gap, the fix is always: say what's actually true, say it well, and make sure machines can read it. If your business genuinely offers something, AI should know about it. If it doesn't, no amount of structured data should pretend otherwise.

The goal is clarity, not spin.

Transparency in How We Work

Every analysis aystos runs is visible to you. You see the same data we see. You know which AI crawlers accessed your site, what content they found, and where they struggled. Nothing is hidden behind a "trust us" curtain.

Our credit costs are published before you spend them. Our scoring methodology is documented. When we make recommendations, we explain why — not just what to change, but what happens if you don't. You make the decisions with full context.

Data Ethics

We built aystos on European infrastructure with GDPR compliance at every layer. That wasn't a checkbox — it was a design decision made before the first line of code.

Your website data is used to run your analysis. It is not used to train AI models, sold to third parties, or aggregated into competitive intelligence products. When you bring your own API keys, your content goes directly to your chosen AI provider — we orchestrate the request, but we don't store or reuse the content.

We don't track users across sites. We don't use third-party analytics beacons. Our own analytics module runs cookieless and self-hosted, because that's the standard we think every tool should meet.

Fair Competition

aystos does not monitor, scrape, or reverse-engineer competitor websites on your behalf. We analyze your site, not theirs.

We believe AI visibility should reward businesses that publish accurate, well-structured content — not those with the biggest optimization budget. Our recommendations focus on making your real strengths machine-readable, not on gaming systems or exploiting gaps in how AI models work.

When we talk about competitors in our own marketing, we describe what we do differently. We don't disparage other tools or claim to be the only solution.

Responsible AI Use

We use AI models in our analysis pipeline — to evaluate content quality, check entity consistency, and generate narrative reports. We choose providers with clear data handling policies and European availability where possible.

We're transparent about what AI does in our platform and where human judgment is still essential. An AI-generated content suggestion is a starting point, not a finished product. A machine-scored analysis highlights patterns, but you decide what matters for your business.

AI is a tool. A good one, when used honestly. We intend to keep using it that way.

A Living Commitment

This isn't a legal document — it's a statement of how we work. The AI landscape is changing fast, and our practices will evolve with it. When they do, we'll update this page.

If you have questions about our approach or see something that doesn't match what we've written here, we want to hear about it. Get in touch.
